16 Feb Eleventh Commercial Location Established: EBT Purchases Salinas Valley Ag Leader Expanding Tire Sales and Service

Fairfield, CA (February 16, 2016)—East Bay Tire Co. (EBT), a leading commercial tire dealer and distributor, today announces the completion of an agreement to purchase business assets and inventory from Lamar Brothers Tire Service (Lamar Bros.) located in Salinas, Calif. and Yuma, Arizona. In addition to the purchase, EBT is now providing tire sales and service from the Lamar Bros. Salinas location.

Lamar Bros. opened in 1927 to provide service to local farmers and grew its business to serve the entire Salinas Valley and central coast communities of Watsonville, Gilroy, Hollister, Greenfield, and King City. “EBT and Lamar Bros. share similar values that will continue to thrive. Being in business for 70 years, EBT can provide the expertise necessary to continue delivering the same standard of service Lamar Bros. customers have come to know,” added Pehanick.

Establishing business in Salinas further confirms EBT’s focus on providing excellent service to their customers and offering the widest selection of tires and tire products throughout northern and central California. The Salinas location is EBT’s eleventh commercial location and will be staffed with tire industry veterans and will provide a range of services that include alignments, brake service and 24-hour road service.
