20 Jan EBT Announces Hire of Several Key Managers, Strengthening Its Commercial Division and Retread Operation

Fairfield, CA (January 20, 2015)–East Bay Tire Co. (EBT), a leading wholesale and commercial tire dealer, announces today the fulfillment of three management positions based in California and Hawaii.

Ryan Reese joins East Bay Tire as general manager for its Kona, HI location. Reese started his career in 1989 at a Utah-based tire retailer and served as a location manager in the retail chain for over six years. Prior to joining EBT, Reese held the title of service manager at Lex Brodies Tire in Hilo, HI for 12 years.

Rodney Furoyama joins East Bay Tire’s ECO Retread Shop based in Honolulu, HI.  A true industry veteran, Furoyama has been in the tire business for 40 years, 30 years of which focused on recapping. In addition, he brings a wealth of knowledge in the retail, wholesale, and commercial sides of the business to his position as general manager. “We are excited to add such highly experience members to our team.
