Meet Ron Gunderson–a team member at our Sacramento Service Center.
Ron has been working in the tire business for 45 years. He started when he was 16 yrs. old working for his father at Morgan Hill Tire Service and then moved to Nevada and learned about OTR tires. He came back to California and worked for a number of tire companies until he started his own, Ron’s Mobile Tire Service. Ron ran his business for about 10 years and then went to work for TCI Tire Center in Sacramento.
In 1994, Hoosier Tire was competing with Goodyear in NASCAR. Ron had the opportunity to work two of the races that year, Sears Point and Phoenix, mounting tires. This was one of those moments he will never forget, being a part of the NASCAR excitement!
When TCI closed in 2010, Ron joined East Bay Tire and has been a delivery driver/retread processer/tire technician/jack-of-all-trades.
Ron is a pleasure to work with and his team at our Sacramento Service Center appreciates all of his hard work and commitment to his job.
